That garage door started making a grinding noise last week, and now it won't open at all. My neighbor had a similar issue with his spring tension and found out it's not something you want to DIY, especially with those heavy torsion springs. A repair guy came over, replaced the broken rollers and realigned the track, and now it glides perfectly quiet. Just needed someone who knew what they were looking at.
